Hi, my name is Kylie Lorenz! I’m originally from Raymore, Saskatchewan. I graduated from Raymore School in 2016. I took a year off and worked as a casual teacher’s assistant and casual secretary at Raymore School, Punnichy School, and Nokomis School. Having this job has opened up some ideas for my future.
In 2017 I enrolled into the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina. I am in for secondary education and am majoring in Math and minoring in English.
My goal as a future educator is to make math a subject that high school students don’t dread. I want mathematics to be a subject all students are happy to be in. I want math to be a class that doesn’t create stress for students and I want my students to easily understand math. On top of that I want my students to learn how to respect people inside and outside of the school.
I have created this blog at the beginning of my first semester at the University of Regina and have been using it for some of my classes. I am very excited for this new adventure that life has to offer and I want to thank you all for following along with me!
